Where have gone all these years ?

Since more than 20 years, I enjoy living on this beautiful island of Mauritius.

From Germany to Mauritius ,how things sometimes work out , you may guess the reason– was love.

Fascinated by tourism, I stayed right from the beginning in this environment.
Today I can say that I know Mauritius with all its tourist activities and many facets.

I would like to share this knowledge with you and hope to be helpful with my tipps and information.

Parallel to the 5 star hotel segment, the demand for private accomodation is rising constantely. This might due to more attractive prices for flight tickets or may be word has spread that :

  • Mauritius can be discovered differently, away from crowds and large resort hotels
  • Small, intimate, self catering bungalows offer relaxed and affordable holidays
  • Private accomodation offers a lot of service (daily cleaning/baysitting/maid service)
  • I am a mum of 3 kids and I know “Home away from home” is a fantastic concept for families and a lot value for money
